Greetings from K.I.D.S Malaysia

Hello and welcome to our blog!

Some of you may have heard of us through word of mouth.
Some of you may have met us in Himpunan Sejuta Belia 2011 in Putrajaya.
Some of you may have seen us on Sejuta Impian TV3.
Some of you may have been with us hands-on in Semporna, Sabah.

Who are we?
Simply put, we are an organization of youngsters aimed at helping the street children and the undocumented children of Malaysia...starting in Sabah.
(Check out the 'Beginnings' tab and 'Our People' to learn more about our history and committee)

Why Sabah?
Because Sabah has 80% of the Malaysian street children population, with the majority of them being from the Bajau Laut clan. They have been around for generations and sadly, some of them are not even registered as Malaysian citizens. As a result, they have no access to public schools and even to basic healthcare. And we, K.I.D.S Malaysia, want to do something about it.

So stay tuned for our future posts, chronicling our every visit to Sabah, our future plans and our collective experiences in this mission. We sincerely hope you help spread the word of our cause and perhaps one day join us in our missions in Sabah.

Sincerely, from K.I.D.S Malaysia.
